Rippleffect programs help youth build confidence, develop critical leadership skills, strengthen relationships, and grow their appreciation for the outdoors through exploration of Cow Island, the waters of Casco Bay, and the wilderness of New England. The Rippleffect Outdoor Community Center
a rippleffect mainland site is coming to portland
The Rippleffect Outdoor Community Center is a partnership with Portland Public Schools and the City of Portland to bring outdoor education and adventure to our backyard of Portland. This site will allow us to deepen our connections with the Portland community, expand our program offerings, and provide Maine youth with equitable access to the outdoors.

Rippleffect is Maine Outdoor Learning Initiative Grant that was part of the American Rescu4 Pal n Act. This funding has supported the Rippleffect Internship job exploration program, our school based outdoor leadership ediucation program, and summer camp experiences for Maine kids!
American Rescue Plan Act GEER, Reverted EANS Funding received from the USDOE support the implementation of this project. The project has an award totaling $6.6 million dollars of which 100% is federally funded and directly attributed to project implementation.
