Resources
The Sea Kayak Guide In Training Program is application based.
Once registration opens, Rippleffect will begin reviewing and accepting applications on a rolling basis.
We welcome your approach to answering these questions. Past applicants have incorporated their answers in essays, poems or pieces of artwork. The only requirement is that your answers are thoughtful and that they come from you (not a parent or friend). During the registration process, there will be the opportunity to answer the following questions:
Describe your kayaking experience. Please provide us with an explanation of your paddling background. How much have you paddled? Where have you paddled?
What are the top 3 most important things, in your opinion, that a guide should always be thinking about on any expedition or experience?
Describe a moment when the ocean environment inspired you. How did that moment of inspiration change you?
Why do you want to do the Rippleffect Sea Kayak Guide in Training Program? Why should Rippleffect choose you for the Sea Kayak Guide in Training program?
