Paddle Trek II | Rising 9th - 12th
OVERVIEW
This sea kayaking adventure offers the opportunity to explore the beautiful islands of Casco Bay while learning valuable outdoor living and leadership skills. Camping on a different island each night, participants will enjoy making new friends among the natural beauty of Maine’s coast. Learn skills, including navigation, advanced strokes, rolling, sea kayak rescue, and general outdoor living skills.
Participants of the Paddle Trek II program should expect long days of paddling in more exposed waters, between 6-12 miles/day. This program has a higher degree of rigor compared to other Rippleffect programs. Students should be comfortable in the water and willing to challenge themselves.
